Props Policy
Some attendees like to bring props and toy ‘weapons’ to our furmeets. These might be Nerf guns, toy ‘weapons’, replicas, or costume parts. It’s a great way to get involved, especially when we hold ‘themed’ meets. However, the organisers would like to clarify what is and isn’t allowed.
If you’re unsure about any of the below, please contact us.

-----

-
You may bring a prop which doesn’t look like a real weapon. This includes Nerf guns and other brightly-coloured toys. However, no firing them and no ammo!
-
You may not bring real or realistic-looking weapons, guns or blades, even if they have been deactivated or blunted. If someone could see your prop from a distance, and mistake it for a weapon, then it cannot be allowed.
-
The organisers will decide if a prop is acceptable.
-
Any prop not accepted must be kept in a bag, or otherwise hidden, until you have left the venue.
-
If we see you with an unacceptable prop, it will be confiscated.
-
If you want to hold a mock fight, please ask an organiser to oversee it. These will generally only be allowed outside.
